Triparoo started with a simple question: why should a platform take 15% of a host's income just for listing a property online? We couldn't find a good answer — so we built something better.
The commission model is broken.
Airbnb charges hosts 3% per booking plus up to 14% in guest service fees. Booking.com takes 15–18% commission. On a property earning £20,000 a year, that's over £3,000 disappearing into a platform's pocket — every single year.
We think that's wrong. The host did the work. The host owns the property. The host should keep the money.
